News:

The GLOBAL General Scheme of Arrangement, in respect of reinsurance business underwritten after 1988 and certain insurance business, was sanctioned by the court and became Effective on 28 January 2011. The Final Claims Submission Deadline was noon (London time) on 27 July 2011. The Scheme terminated on 22 December 2011.

The GLOBAL General Scheme of Arrangement in respect of reinsurance business underwritten between 1940 and 1988 terminated on 1st December 2009. All Scheme Claims were adjusted by GLOBAL Re UK and settled within six months of the Final Claims Submission Deadline.
